"A ballet
class without live accompaniment is basically a torso. Too
much is dependent on the co-ordination between teacher, dancer
and their music.
A ballet
pianist needs to become their partner, not only for providing
a rhythmical or metrical structure, but also for lifting the
movement beyond, searching for its very essence.

Langewen, having added years of experience with the 'Nederlands
Dans Theater' to his personal skill and sensitivity as a pianist,
to me seems to be the right person to offer his help in such
a situation."
